Animals on Safari at Walt Disney World : A cold January day at Disney's Animal Kingdom enabled me to capture these shots while riding on a safari vehicle on the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. Since it was not crowded the driver was able to give us a slow ride and stopped so I get the shots of the lion when saw my long lens poling out to get the shot.

Blue Herons : Living in Florida enables me to photograph many Blue Herons. My favorite are those I shot at Homosassa Springs.

Butterflies : Butterflies photographed at the Butterfly conservatory at Cypress Gardens in Florida

Eagles : This Eagle decided to perch on a tree the other side of a pond across from our home in Cypress Lakes, Lakeland, Florida. As I walked down the enbankment taking pictures he took off as I knew he would with hopes of getting some pictures of him in flight. It was late in the day just before sunset.

Giraffes : Giraffes photographed at the Out of Africa Park in Arizona and Busch Gardens in Florida

Hummingbirds : There are several species of Hummingbirds and these are Hummingbirds photographed in Phoenix, Arizona.

Osprey : We came across this Osprey nest on the top of a marker on our return from sailing in a channel of the Severn River in Maryland. We have many nests in Florida on the top of poles that run along Interstate 4 but I've never been able to see or photograph one up close like this other than in captivity.

Spoonbills : Pink Spoonbill photographed in stream across from my home in Lakeland, Florida. You can see the tracking device on her.

Woodpeckers : Stunning Woodpecker photographed at Bok Tower in Florida

Woodstorks : Woodstork photographed in stream across from my home in Lakeland, Florida

Spiders : Bok Tower, Florida - There were many spiders in the trees in the Gardens at Bok Towers in November and made for some interesting photography
